Bulk Upload Reels Safely: A 6 Step Workflow (2026)

Bulk uploading Reels is fine. Bulk publishing them is where accounts get into trouble. Upload your whole backlog in one sitting, then spread the posts out so each account only gets a few a day.
Bulk upload Reels to Facebook in Business Suite
Meta Business Suite has a built in bulk tool.
- Go to Meta Business Suite, then Home.
- Click More at the top and choose Bulk upload reels.
- Add your videos.
- Edit the title and add a description for each (optional).
- Under Scheduling options choose Publish now, Schedule or Save as draft.
- Click Publish.
Meta lists two limits. Bulk uploads go to one Page only, and you crosspost to other Pages afterwards. They go to your Facebook Page only, not your Instagram account.
Bulk upload Reels to Instagram
There is no bulk Reels upload for Instagram in Business Suite. Your options:
- The Instagram app. Schedule them one by one. Instagram allows up to 25 scheduled posts a day, up to 30 days ahead.
- A scheduler using the API. Meta's docs allow 400 upload containers per account per rolling 24 hours, but only 100 published posts in that time (its carousel section and the limit endpoint reference say 50; the docs conflict). Containers expire after 24 hours if not published, so a good tool uploads close to the publish time.
Bulk upload to Snapchat
Snapchat's web uploader steps describe choosing one photo or video per post, though you can select more than one Profile to post it to. Snapchat does not document a bulk option. It also cannot post to Story and Spotlight at once, so each needs its own upload.
The limits that matter
| Platform | Route | Daily ceiling |
|---|---|---|
| Reels API | 30 Reels per Page per rolling 24 hours | |
| Business Suite bulk upload | Not published | |
| App scheduling | 25 posts a day | |
| API | 100 per 24 hours (docs also say 50) | |
| Snapchat | Web uploader | Not published |
These are ceilings, not targets.
What happened when we bulk published to a new Page
We sent 25 to 30 Reels a day by API to a Facebook Page created on 27 September 2026 with about 20 followers, many scheduled weeks ahead. The first few Reels got 12 to 21 views each. Within about a week new Reels were getting 0 to 2 views, and later 0. The Page appeared to be limited as spam.
Nothing in the API warned us. Facebook exposes no field showing a Page restriction; only the owner sees it in Page status or the Professional dashboard. We deleted every scheduled post and paused automation. If this sounds familiar, read how to check and appeal a restricted Page and daily limits for new accounts.
A safer bulk workflow
- Cut tight. When we cut Shorts from daily vlogs, most moments only held their subject for about ten seconds, so 30 to 40 second cuts beat padding to 60. See cutting long videos into shorts.
- Export once to a spec every platform accepts. MP4, 9:16, 1080x1920, kept between 6 and 60 seconds if Snapchat is included. Check them against video specs for Reels and Spotlight.
- Write captions in a sheet first. Instagram allows 2,200 characters; Snapchat Spotlight descriptions stop at 160.
- Upload everything in one session.
- Schedule a few a day per account, not the platform maximum. Lay the week out in the posting planner.
- Watch views on the first week's posts before scheduling further ahead.
Reel Uploader is built around step 5: you upload once, and it publishes to Instagram and Facebook one post at a time with a daily limit per account. Snapchat follows once Snap approves the app. For choosing between Meta's tool and a scheduler, see Meta Business Suite vs schedulers, and for the whole process, the guide to cross posting short videos.
Questions people ask
Can I bulk upload Reels to Instagram and Facebook together?
Not with Business Suite's bulk tool, which only posts to one Facebook Page. You need the app, the composer one by one, or a scheduler.
How many Reels can I bulk upload to Facebook at once?
Meta's Help Centre does not state a number for Business Suite. Through the API the limit is 30 Reels per Page per rolling 24 hours.
Will bulk scheduling get my Page restricted?
We have not found a published threshold from Meta. Our new Page was limited after a week of 25 to 30 Reels a day, so start far lower on a new account.
